This is a big complex by the Nelson airport full of WearableArt costumes and classic cars (one of the best car collections in the South hemisphere) . It is much more than a museum - it is quite a spectacle and everyone who goes really enjoys it. Cost: Adults $20, NZ Students $15

"It may seem like a lot of cash for a NZ museum, but it's incredible - the fashion/art/clothing is so imaginative, the creativity blew me away. And the cars. MMMmmm, they're so nice!"
"World of Wearable Art was FANTASTIC - even my boyfriend who had to be dragged along kicking and screaming enjoyed it." "Completely agree. World of Wearable Art was amazing and well worth the $15 entry fee. The cars were good too."
How to get there If you are driving it is very close to the airport (on Quarantine Road). Otherwise you can bike from town or take an SBL bus from main bus stop on Bridge St. $2.70 each way - leaving roughly on the hour. ($19 package for bus and entry to Museum).
